Great Fosters

My Experience

All the venues you see on my website have either been visited personally by myself or have been researched thoroughly, this has been done to ensure that your photographs are the very best that you can expect. Great Foster is a particulary brilliant wedding venue and from my experience one is extremely picturesque.

Just 20 minutes outside Windsor and directly off the M25 stand the Great Fosters wedding venue. This Surrey based venue has in excess of 50 acres of stunning gardens and parkland . In addition to hosting wedding receptions the hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and weddings, both indoors and on the lawn. Moreover this is a beautiful hotel that guests can stay at afterwards. You can stay overnight in one of our 43 luxurious suites or rooms. Special room rates are available for wedding guests too. It is literally the whole package.

Great Fosters possesses a plethora of original details and features and is designated as a Scheduled Historic Monument and Grade 1 listed building. Tempting menus are combined with vintage wines to ensure that your wedding breakfast is a gourmet experience, while the hotel’s gardens – with a Japanese bridge, lake, fountain and Saxon moat – provide an idyllic backdrop for photographs.

There a large range of rooms to hold the ceremony, wedding breakfast and receptions. All beautiful and ideal for photo opportunities. All range in price. Room orangery can hold 160 guests, conservatory 40 guests, Clarence 50 guests, garden room 20 guests and archery pavilion and lawn 160 guests.

From talking to clients I can tell that the coordination team work around the clock to ensure stay and wedding run smoothly – I have never heard a bad complaint. They will be on hand throughout the organisation of your wedding to offer advice, guidance and support leading up to the day. Particularly Giulia's, Jose and Danesh assistance and help throughout the wedding is supposidely supperb.

In peak season (march, april, October and November) and bank holidays the room hire on a Saturday will set you back £6500 to £7500. Moreover as a rough guide the minimum spend for menu is circa £100 and there is a minimum guest of 100. Overall as a start you can expect to spend £17,00 at peak times. Assuming that you have the wedding on through the winter at non peak times (January, February, May, September and December) on a Monday to Thrusday you can get a minimum guest of 50, menu prices at £62 and room hire of £3,500 beaning that the wedding can cost you as little as £7000!

This venue has also been rated a 9/10 on Telegraph which reviews that

“Italian gilt furniture, exquisite Flemish tapestries, elaborate Jacobean fireplaces and a one-Michelin-starred restaurant are the crowning glories of this luxury country-house hotel”. **

I truely believe this one of the best venues you can be married at or attend. If you like this venue and wish to make an enquiry for me to be your  photographer than please don't forget to click on the "contact me" button below and make an enquiry.
