My Experience
All the venues you see on my website have either been visited personally by myself or have been researched thoroughly, this has been done to ensure that your photographs are the very best that you can expect. Hampden House is a spectacular wedding venue and from my experience one that makes a wedding photographers life easy. To see if this is the venue for you please continue to read my experience.
Taplow House Hotel is gorgeous property set in six acres of beautiful grounds, offering a home from home environment with a high standard of personalised service. The expansive lawns are perfect for having a glass of champagne and capturing the whole family at their best.
Just 5 minutes outside of Maidenhead town centre and 25 minutes from Heathrow airport. This incredible Georgian Hotel is situated between the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire counties so if you have guests arriving from far and wide this place may be perfect.
For their premium packages a minimum of 60 guests at £16,999 are required at this venue with all additional guests costing £165 per head. Other cheaper packages are available, however for this inclusive deals offer guests the following features:
· One glass of Prosecco on arrival
· Canapés on arrival
· Four course wedding breakfast, coffee and petit fours
· Half a bottle of wine per person from our house selection
· A glass of Prosecco for the toast
· BBQ or Hog Roast for the evening reception
· All 32 bedrooms
· Breakfast the following day
If you feel like making use of the outside space an additional marquee is also available making the outside available no mater what the weather permits. Furthermore fireworks are also available to be set up, which is a limitiation for a lot of venues. Trust me when I say, this makes incredible photo opportunities.
The unique selling point is the ground floor, “Woofy’s Bar” which is located in the cellar of this majestic house. It has a warm, modern design with a sunken dance floor and a fully functioning bar. This space is brilliant for the evening fiascos. I have been to a lot of weddings and I can safely say this venue always get people dancing. The low celling and incredible acoustics are incredibly conducive for dancing.
From discussing clients who have had their wedding at this site they have commented that nothing is too much trouble. All staff were considered friendly and welcoming. The food was of a very high standard, whether it was the informal buffet the evening before, the breakfast or the formal wedding meal, everything was perfect. More over any minor issues were resolved quickly and with complete curtesy.
